Ever looked your your computer or your phone screen for so long and needed to give your eyes a rest? Well there’s a product that can actually help with that. Let me introduce you to めぐリズム 蒸気でホットアイマスク/MegRhythm Steam Eye Mask where you can have your own spa product for your eyes anywhere.
When I was first introduced to the steam eye mask, it was when I received it for free from my Japanese contact lens company for a campaign. I gave it a try and the steam eye mask just makes you want to relax.
This is how it works, once you open the packet, it automatically starts heating up, place the eye mask over your eyes with the white side facing the eyes. Leave the eye mask on for 20 minutes and just simply relax. I recommend not sleeping with the eye mask because this is to relax your eyes before bed not during. People can use this while they are on the train or plane. I heard a friend use the steam eye mask during her work break because she stares at the computer screen too long.
The size is pretty large and so I think this is fit for everyone. The ear hook is soft so it won’t tug or irritate your ears. I’m not gonna lie I have accidentally slept with them on because they are so relaxing but it can be dangerous moving around your sleep when they are on your eyes, so I heavily recommend trying this before sleeping sitting up.

The temperature of the eye mask is roughly 40 degrees Celsius/104 Farenheight. When it is too hot for your eyes I would let it rest for a bit before placing on the eyes. This is not microwavable so please after you use, throw the product away. This product have different options of aroma that have essential oils in them so you can decide which scent you would like. The scents include chamomile, rose, yuzu, lavender, and forest. No worries, there are no fragrance smell as well so if you are not a big fan of scent then try the non-scented ones!

Ok lets begin with the first one which is chamomile. The chamomile scented eye mask made me feel very light. It has a soft tea like scent that isn’t too harsh and so I believe it is perfect for use before sleeping. Next is Yuzu, this scent has a citrus smell like a mixture of orange and lemon. Compared to chamomile, it had a stronger scent, more refreshing vibe, and I can imagine myself using this right after taking a bath. Third one is forest and this one has a strong scent as well. It really feels like I was in the forest wearing this. I can imagine being at a camping trip with out actually going camping haha. I can definitely sense the nature with this one. Fourth eye mask is the lavender scent, which is very soothing and helps with the relaxation. I would definitely use this before I go to sleep. Last scented eye mask is rose which is a light scented floral which reminds me of a rose petal bath. I can imagine myself using this after shower or bath.
To summarize, in my opinion I think chamomile and lavender are perfect use before going to sleep. Yuzu and rose, I imagine myself using when I want to have a mini spa. If I were to use an eye mask on a train or plane ride I would use a non-scented one because the some of the scents are a little strong and I do not want to bother people with the smell. However, I am not telling you what you can or can’t do, please wear as you please, this is just my preference. Lastly, the forest smell I don’t think I would use very often, however I can definitely use this when I feel stressed and just needing that nature like smell.
I wanted to recommend this product because I know there are many people who get really tired from their eyes. Because of this, using this product might be a great option to relax with them. Definitely am all about relaxing your body when it needs it and so using this just might help. Would rate this product 10/10 because its a product I would use constantly! I also love the feeling after I use it. This would be a great gift idea if you know someone who might need some relaxation! I hope this helps!
