Do you have a closet that is just too dark to navigate your clothes? I have been having a hard time looking for certain clothes because it is too dark and it can get really frustrating. There is no light set inside the closet and so I had an idea. Let’s light it up in the closet. Let me show you how I DIY my closet to not only illuminate it, but make it look fancy.
I remember some hotels I have stayed at will have lights installed their closets and I thought I can do that at home. So I bought LED strip light from Amazon Japan (about $15) and got to work. The LED has tape on it which makes it super easy to apply! Anybody can do it! Also the LED strip light I purchased needs a charge pack to light it up. I have so many of those so I just used the one I had. Plus I think it’s better than battery required ones because you can just recharge it home rather than buying new batteries.
When purchasing your LED light, one thing I would point out is make sure to buy the correct length so you can light up around your closet. I focused on taping around the top and sides area so I can have light from all angles. Now let’s light it up!
And here is the end result! I apologize for the messy closet haha. However, this is game changer because I can finally find all my clothes without having any difficulty. If you have a dark closet I would recommend trying DIY your closet so you can have illuminated closet! Plus it looks fancy!
