Hello everyone! Welcome back to another money friendly beauty product review! Today’s post I will be reviewing Choosy Lip Mask. I have seen this product everywhere in the beauty section at stores, but I didn’t try it until now. I can not wait to see if this product is going to make my lips moisturize! Let’s get to it!
I bought 3 Choosy Lip Mask; Milk, Peach, and Honey for 132yen each. I wanted to try different lip masks if it will give me different results. Now lets see if that’s true…
Let’s begin with the Milk type.
Following the instructions on the back it says we need to make sure our lips are cleaned, apply the lip mask, and let it sit for 5-10 mins.
I apologize in advance for my crusty dry lips, but I wanted to see how hydrating this lip mask can be.
At first I was confused on how to apply the mask on my lips that I accidentally ripped it. After the third try I got it. Third time is the charm haha. When I first applied it, it smelled like coconuts.
I waited 10 mins because I wanted more hydrating results and as you can see down below. I can say that it hydrated my lips, but not how I imagined it will be. Thought that my lips would be more glossy like the package. I should have considered that the model’s lip on the package probably has lipstick on it to have that glossy look. When I rub my lips together it is kind of dry, however if I apply chapstick it will be more hydrating looking. Maybe just maybe, I may not be drinking enough water which might give me better results, but this is how I ended up with.
Next, is Peach. Peach had a very light peach scent to it. I tried this on a different day and as you can see below I might’ve applied the lip mask incorrectly(upside down). In the end, it looks like this lip mask added color to my lips which was quite nice because I saw the color difference right away when I looked through the mirror. It did however, gave me the same feel results when I rubbed my lips together just like the Milk type.
Lastly, is Honey. The Honey type smelled like the typical Japanese chapstick smell. For the results, it turned out pretty much the same as the Milk type lip texture-wise. It did not however, give me a color tint like the Peach type.
After reviewing all of these three products I would say that the Peach one was better because it added a tint of color. I can say that all three of these products gave me the same texture feel after applying the lip mask, but not all of them gave me a color tint. I am not sure if the color tint is intentional, but I don’t mind it because my lips looked healhy.
Now how would I rate this product? I would rate it 5/10 because I thought it would be a lot more hydrated and glossy. It still moisturized my lips, but just a little bit. I can imagine buying plenty of these and use it for sleepovers (like a spa day with your friends.) Sadly, it’s not a product I would use often. Overall, it’s not too bad. If you are interested in trying this you might have different results than me. But would you be interested in trying this lip mask? If so let me know in the comments down below!
All in all, this product is Kawaii (Cute) and Oshare (Stylish)♡
